A New Kind of Research University
Established in 2018, SivasUST is one of only 15 universities in Turkey designated by the Council of Higher Education as a mission-oriented research university — meaning it was purpose-built, not just to teach, but to solve real national and regional challenges in agriculture and defense. The university comprises 3 faculties, a School of Foreign Languages, a Vocational School, and a Graduate Institute.

100% English-Medium Education
Education at SivasUST is conducted entirely in English. International students (and Turkish students alike) begin with one year of English-language preparation at the School of Foreign Languages before starting their degree program, ensuring everyone is fully equipped to study, discuss, and research in English throughout their time at the university.

SivasUST offers a distinctive graduate education model. In addition to an academic advisor, graduate students are paired with an industry advisor — an expert from a partner company or institution. A Growing, Modern Campus
SivasUST's campus is under active development in one of the city's most vibrant areas. The first phase — a 16,500 m² Classrooms and Central Units Building — is nearing completion, allowing students to begin studies on campus. Once fully built, the campus will offer around 40,000 m² of indoor space and 56,000 m² of open area, including the Sivas Education, Fair, and Congress Center. A future Central Campus is also planned on an 820-decare (approx. 82-hectare) site in the Kurtderesi district.
